Felicity is an English actress known for her performance as Jane Hawking, the protagonist of The Theory of Everything. Jones, who has been acting since she was twelve, has appeared in numerous TV shows and films. Her professional career began in the TV production The Treasure Seekers. In the following film, she played Ethel Hallow in The Worst Witch, and The follow-up Weirdsister college. She played Young Ruth as her debut film Flashbacks of a Fool. In the following years, she was in a variety of movies. In films like The Invisible Woman and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 she gained recognition for her performance. However, it was her performance on The Theory of Everything that brought her an Oscar for the first time. Jones, who played Stephen Hawking's wife second in this biopic, received plenty of praise from critics and viewers due to the manner in which she depicted her. Inferno was the following film she appeared in with Tom Hanks. Inferno was a thriller starring Tom Hanks. British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles presented Jones with the British Artist of the Year in the year 2016 because of her outstanding ability and contribution to film.
