Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp (Canadian actress) is best known for her lead roles in many television series however, she also has impressive roles in film. Her fan base is large both on American and Canadian television. When Emily was 12, she began to become fascinated by acting after she visited her sister Katie at the location of one of her films. She began taking classes in acting and auditioning following realizing she loved acting. After several commercials that were successful, she was soon cast in the Canadian children's horror television show Are You terrified of the Dark? which featured her only in one scene, without any spoken dialogue. In the year 15 she got her big break after she became an actor on the WB program Glory Days. Emily's acting attracted the attention of Greg Berlanti, even though the show ended in just nine short seasons. Greg Berlanti cast Emily as a regular character on Everwood. Emily is also a dancer also a photographer, and was named as one of Teen's top 20 actresses. Maxim ranked her 51st on their Hot 100 of 2014.
